EASTER 2015: Egg hunt at Yeovil Country Park

AN EASTER Eggstravaganza hunt will be held for families at Ninesprings later this month in Yeovil – thanks to South Somerset District Council’s ranger team.

The Friends of Yeovil Country Park are supporting the event which will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from between 10am and 2pm.

There is no need to book, just turn up and collect a trail leaflet from the Friends of Yeovil Country Park stall which will be located opposite Ninesprings Café. The trail will cost £1 per child.EASTER 2015: Egg hunt at Yeovil Country Park

Chairman of the Friends of Yeovil Country Park, Robin Mackay, said: “We are extremely grateful to Crofton Stores who have again donated over 600 Cadbury’s crème eggs for prizes.

“Their donation enables the Friends to give a great prize to all of those that take part in this fun trail around Yeovil Country Park, and means that the Friends can continue to fundraise for projects in the country park.”

The trail takes about one-hour to complete. The cross country route is suitable for adventurous pushchairs, but please be careful working your way through the county park.

The council’s leisure and culture spokesman, Cllr Sylvia Seal, said: “We are once again delighted to host this event at Yeovil Country Park. It’s always well attended and we enjoy seeing the children having lots of fun hunting for the trail answers.”

The Ninesprings Cafe will be open for refreshments.
