YEOVIL NEWS: Four arrested on suspicion of drug dealing

FOUR people have been taken into custody in Yeovil today (Saturday, March 7, 2015) on suspicion of drug dealing.

The news was released earlier today on social media with PC George Pettingell saying that Yeovl officers have been working hard to tackle the issues of Class A drug dealing in the community.

“As a result we have made numerous arrests in that time,” he said. “A number of these arrests have been made with the assistance of members of public providing us with information about their activities.

“We are currently dealing with four males in custody for being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and we continue to target those suspected of being involved.”

PC Pettingell added: “As things stand in the last two months we have arrested at least 20 individuals for Class A drug-related offences and a number of those are now on bail while we continue our investigations.”
