SOMERSET NEWS: Witnesses wanted after fatal road crash near Burnham-on-Sea

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident that happened earlier this week in Somerset.

The accident occurred near Burnham-on-Sea on the A370 at Lympsham, close to an Esso petrol station, when a car carrying two people crashed into a house at around 6.30pm on Wednesday (January 21, 2015).

A police spokesman said: “A grey Peugeot estate travelling from the direction of Weston towards Bridgwater left the road and collided with a house wall.”

Police have yet to give out any further details about who was involved, although they have confirmed this morning that a man has died as a result of the incident.

But a spokesman added; “If anyone has any information about this incident please call us on 101 and quote reference number CI-26/15.”
