YEOVIL NEWS: Schools put out Stranger Danger warning

PARENTS are being warned about a possible “stranger danger” alert in the Yeovil and Montacute area.

Messages have been put out at some local schools about children being followed by a man in a car.

One statement said: “We have had recent reports in the Montacute and Yeovil area of students being followed home by an unknown male who may be linked to a car that has also been seen in the area.

“Please be vigilant, discuss this with your child and inform us if you have any further information or concerns.”

Children have been reminded about the need to be wary when out and about and on their own and the possible dangers about speaking to strangers.
