SOMERSET NEWS: Caravan fire under investigation

THE cause of a fire at a static caravan in Somerset last night (Saturday, October 25, 2014) is under investigation.

Firefighters from Burnham-on-Sea and Bridgwater were mobilised at just after 10.30pm to the incident in Coast Road, Berrow.

The fire was out by the time the officers had reached the scene and they learned that members of the public had been able to extinguish the fire.

But a spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service told the Yeovil Press: “An ambulance attended for two people suffering from smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is being investigated.”
