YEOVIL NEWS: Car fire at Odcombe

ONE fire engine from Yeovil was sent out yesterday (Saturday, October 18, 2014) evening to deal with a car fire on the outskirts of the town.

The alarm was raised at 5pm to the incident in New Road, Odcombe.

Firefighters quickly dealt with the incident, but the engine compartment of the vehicle was severely damaged by fire.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman told the Yeovil Press: “The cause of the fire was accidental.”
