SOMERSET NEWS: Child locked in bedroom

A CHILD aged two had to be rescued this morning (Monday, September 15, 2014) after getting locked inside a bedroom.

The alarm was raised at just before 11am to the situation at a home in Brewery Lane, Shepton Mallet.

One fire engine from the town was mobilised.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service told the Yeovil Press: “The small child was released unharmed by personnel who forced entry into the room.”
