SOMERSET NEWS: Fluffy is tempted down by cat biscuits

FIREFIGHTERS were called today (Monday, September 15, 2014) to rescue a cat which had got stuck on the roof of a home.

A fire engine was flagged down by a member of the public at just after 11.15am to the situation in Reedmore Gardens, Bridgwater.

Officers used ladders and other equipment to coax the cat into a safe position for rescue.

But a spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fluffy the cat was persuaded to safety using cat biscuits.”
