SOMERSET NEWS: Paramedics give treatment

PARAMEDICS had to give treatment to a casualty who had suffered from smoke inhalation following an incident at a Somerset home.

The alarm was raised at 1am this morning (Sunday, August 17, 2014) to the problem at Danesborough View East in Williton where a fire alarm was sounding at a property.

One fire engine from Williton was mobilised.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman told the Yeovil Press: “Crews found that cooking had been left unattended and the property was smoke logged.

“We ventilated the property and ambulance paramedics attended as the occupier of the property had suffered smoke inhalation.”
