SOMERSET NEWS: Children left distressed after locked in car

TWO young children were left “slightly distressed” after being locked in a car in Somerset.

One fire engine from Frome was called out at just before 4pm to the incident in Garston Road in the town.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service told the Yeovil Press: “On arrival the crew discovered a vehicle with a two-year-old and a three-month old locked in.

“The children were slightly distressed.”

The spokesman added: “Crews used small tools to release the children from the car.”
