Neighbourhood beat police have posted on their social networking Twitter account tonight (Saturday, July 12, 2014) that officers have served notice of an application for a closure order at an address in Turn Pike Orchard which is off of Gordon Road in the Westville/Southville area of Yeovil.

The notice warns that anyone entering the property may be committing an offence.

The notice reads: “A constable in uniform may arrest a person he reasonably suspects of committing or having committed an offence under this section.”

This story will be updated when more information is known, but closure orders are made on premises that cause “significant and persistent disorder, or persistent serious nuisance to a community.”
