YEOVIL NEWS: Fashion fix at the Quedam

CROWDS of people watched a fashion show at the Quedam Shopping Centre in Yeovil on Saturday (June 28, 2014) and not even heavy rain put a dampener on proceedings.

Image consultant, Emmeline Stevens, presented the show and offered styling advice to the audience of on-lookers.

Marks & Spencer gave manicures to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the Boots and The Body Shop offered skincare advice and makeovers to members of the public.

Boots were also the official make-up artists of the day – making-up most of the models who showed the latest trends from all the fashion stores in the Mall.

And a spokesman for the organisers said: “Despite heavy rain during the show – it was a fantastic day.”

Among the models were a couple of girls from Yeovil Town Ladies FC, while The Body Shop raised funds during the show for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
