SOMERSET NEWS: Woman suffers injuries in crash
ONE woman suffered chest and arm injuries last night (Monday, June 30, 2014) following a traffic crash in Somerset.
The incident happened at just after 10pm at Parsonage Road in Berrow, near Burnham-on-Sea, involving two vehicles.
The Fire Service received a call from ambulance staff and firefighters from Burnham and neighbouring Weston-super-Mare attended.
They found one woman medically trapped inside a vehicle and they removed the roof with hydraulic cutting equipment.
A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “One female casualty with chest and arm injuries was released by fire crews and conveyed to hospital by ambulance.”
