YEOVIL NEWS: Dodgy money alert!

POLICE are warning shoppers and traders in Yeovil to be on their guard against dodgy £10 notes circulating in the town.

There have been a number of incidents of the counterfeit money popping up in Crewkerne, but police have now reported that the “funny money” is in Yeovil.

“Those fake £10 notes are still out there,” said a police spokesman on Twitter. “Two women tried to use some in Yeovil yesterday. Keep vigilant.”
