SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: More info on dodgy tenners

POLICE have issued further information to traders and shoppers in South Somerset about a number of fake £10 notes which have been circulating in the area.

It was last week that local police officers revealed on their social networking Twitter account that a batch of counterfeit tenners had been found in the Crewkerne area.

The police have now said that the dodgy £10 notes doing the rounds in Crewkerne have the serial number JL43 625581 on them.

Anyone who finds one of these notes or has information regarding where they have come from – please call police on 101.
