YEOVIL NEWS: Glovers congratulated on Family Excellence Award

YEOVIL Town Football Club has been congratulated by Yeovil MP David Laws on its recent news of being presented with the Football League Family Excellence Award.

The award is given out by the Football League to clubs who have provided the best experience for families attending league matches throughout the season.

The award is judged by two family ‘mystery shopper’ visits to home fixtures. These families attended a home league match at Huish Park, and then marked their experience and provided feedback on a number of important areas, including ‘the journey to the match’, ‘first impressions and buying tickets’, ‘the club shop’, ‘refreshments’, and ‘inside the stadium.’

Finally they said whether they would recommend the experience to other families.

Mr Laws said: “This Family Excellence Award is something that everybody at Yeovil Town Football Club can be very proud of.

“I would like to congratulate all the staff who work so hard to make sure that HuishPark provides a friendly environment for families and travelling fans alike.”
