YEOVIL NEWS: Arson attack on car

ARSON is being blamed for a car fire in Yeovil during the early hours of this morning (Saturday, May 24, 2014).

The alarm was raised at just after 2.30am when the Fire Service received multiple calls about the incident in Swallowcliffe Gardens in Yeovil which is off of Huish.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause of the fire is deliberate which resulted in the vehicle being completely destroyed together with slight damage to a van, a polycarbonate roof and a wheelie bin.”

The spokesman added: “Police were also requested to this incident.”
