SOMERSET NEWS: Two-vehicle crash at Minehead

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this evening (Wednesday, May 21, 2014) to deal with a two-vehicle road collision at Minehead.

The alarm was raised at just after 7.30pm to the incident at Mallard Road in the Alcombe area of the town and one fire engine from Minehead was mobilised.

Officers found all persons involved in the incident were free and clear of the vehicle.

But a spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “One casualty was a walking wounded and was tended to by ambulance crews on the scene.

“Fire crews made both vehicles safe and left the incident in the hands of police and ambulance.”
