YEOVIL NEWS: Good luck to the Back From Boro cyclists

A TEAM of 65 is travelling north today (Monday, April 28, 2014) in readiness for the start of a 334-mile cycle ride back to Yeovil.

The group will be setting off from Middlesbrough Football Club’s Riverside Stadium tomorrow (Tuesday, April 29, 2014) morning and will arrive back at Yeovil Town Football Club’s Huish Park ground on Saturday (May 3, 2014).

The cyclists – all being well – will be back in time to watch Yeovil Town play host to Middlesbrough in their final match of the 2013-14 season in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Back From Boro cyclists, in partnership with the Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust, are hoping to raise £30,000 for St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice and Prostate Cancer charities.

The group will be averaging around 73 miles per day on the opening four days of the ride before a 44-mile journey on the Saturday morning from Bath to Yeovil.
