SOMERSET NEWS: Fuse box fire

TWO fire engines were called out late last night (Wednesday, April 23, 2014) to deal with an electrical fuse box fire at a Somerset home.

The alarm was raised at just before 10.45pm to the problem at a property in Whitstone Rise, Shepton Mallet.

Firefighters found there had been a fire in the fuse box and called in engineers from Western Power.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.”
