SOMERSET NEWS: Safe stolen in burglary
POLICE are appealing for information after a safe was taken during a burglary at a Somerset home.
The incident happened yesterday (Tuesday, April 22, 2014) during a burglary at Glastonbury.
A police spokesman said: “The burglary happened between 7am and 7.40am at a home on The Roman Way.
“A back door was forced open and a bedroom was searched. A small dark grey safe about one foot in size was taken.”
Anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously in the area, or knows what happened to the safe, should contact Avon and Somerset Police on 101 and quote 39982/14.
