AN edition of the highly-popular Flog It antique valuation TV programme filmed at RNAS Yeovilton and the Fleet Air Arm Museum will be screened next week.YEOVIL NEWS: Flog It show from RNAS Yeovilton on TV

The BBC TV show was filmed at the Royal Naval base in February of last year over two days.

They filmed at the 815 Naval Air Squadron where Lynx Mark 8 provide operational support to deployments. Air Traffic Control and the Royal Naval Historic Flights were among other departments to take part in the filming.

Flog It presenter Paul Martin met up with hundreds of people from Somerset laden with their hidden treasures for valuation at the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

The Commanding Officer at RNAS Yeovilton, Commodore Jock Alexander, took part by sharing a piece of Naval history with the presenter – a painting, by artist Philip West, depicting crew in a Swordfish fighting off a German attack at Brest in February 1942.

The Military Wives Choir at Yeovilton also created a wonderful atmosphere in the Concorde Hangar during the filming of Flog It in the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

The Flog It programme from RNAS Yeovilton will be screened on BBC1 at 4.30pm on Monday, April 14, 2014.
