SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Oil tanker and car in collision

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this morning (Wednesday, April 9, 2014) to deal with a collision between an oil tanker and a car.

The incident happened at just before 7.40am at Church Street in Winsham, near Chard, and fortunately nobody was trapped.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The tanker load was not involved and the scene was made safe by the fire crews.”
