Gas leak at Yeovil home

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this morning (Thursday, March 27, 2014) to deal with a gas leak at a home in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at just before 10.30am to a property in Lime Tree Avenue and fire engines from Yeovil, Crewkerne and Taunton attended.

The Gas Board was also in attendance and firefighters worked alongside engineers to isolate the supply.

Once the gas has been isolated, the property was ventilated and left in the care of the owner and gas company.
