SOMERSET NEWS: Missing Luke Simmonds found safe and well

POLICE have announced this morning (Wednesday, March 19, 2014) that missing Somerset man Luke Simmonds has been found safe and well.

The news will come as a huge relief to his family and friends who were growing increasingly anxious about his whereabouts having been missing since February 28, 2014.

A police spokesman said: “Last week we issued an appeal in a bid to find him. As a result of the appeal he has been located safe and well outside of the Avon and Somerset area.

“We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped look for him and shared our appeal on Facebook and Twitter.”

He had last been seen in Derbyshire having travelled there from his home in the Wells area to visit extended family, but had left after an argument.
