Photographic equipment stolen in house burglary
PEOPLE are being asked to be vigilant if they are offered photographic equipment at a bargain price.
A camera and lenses have been taken in a burglary in South Somerset and it is possible the suspect may now try and sell the items.
A property in West Street, Stoke-sub-Hamdon, was broken into overnight between Tuesday, February 25, and Wednesday, February 26, 2014.
A Nikon D700 digital camera was taken along with five lenses.
A police spokesman said: “We are urging members of the public to be vigilant and would also like second-hand shops being offered a camera and lenses to contact us.”
Anyone with information can contact police on 101 and quote the reference number 19965/14.
