Roof removed from vehicle to free casualty

FIREFIGHTERS from Yeovil were called out this afternoon (Monday, February 10, 2014) to help deal with a road accident at Milborne Port.

The alarm was raised at just before 1.45pm to the single vehicle accident on the A30 London   Road.

Two fire engines from Sherborne and a rescue tender from Yeovil were mobilised to the incident.

Upon arrival at the scene officers found a casualty was trapped inside the vehicle and had to remove the roof to free them.
