Man, 31, charged with attempted rape

A MAN will appear before South Somerset Magistrates Court in Yeovil today (Thursday, January 30, 2014) following a sexual assault on a woman in the town.

At about 1.20am on Sunday (January 26, 2014) a 25-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in an underpass near Yeovil District Hospital.

Now a 31-year-old man from Weymouth has been charged with attempted rape and will appear in court today.
