Firefighters called out to road smash

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this afternoon (January 1, 2014) to reports of a road traffic collision on the outskirts of Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at just after 1.30pm and one fire engine from Yeovil was mobilised to the incident in Head Street, Tintinhull.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews confirmed one vehicle involved and nobody trapped.

“The vehicle and scene were made safe.”
