Bus and car in collision

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this evening (Saturday, December 7, 2013) to reports of a road crash between a bus and a car.

The alarm was raised at just before 7.45pm to Eggwood Hill at Merriott and fire engines from Crewkerne and Martock were mobilised.

Firefighters found one person trapped inside the car and they had to remove the roof to get the casualty out of the vehicle and into the hands of ambulance personnel.
