Police want everyone to work together

POLICE are looking for everyone to work together to help create safer neighbourhoods in Yeovil.

Officers have said that they want to hear from people about the problems they are facing in their own street or area so that they can work with the local councils and other agencies to find the “right solutions.”Police want everyone to work together

A police spokesman said: ““Anti-social behaviour is an activity which causes distress to others and affects quality of life.

“However this behaviour does not always amount to a criminal offence so we work with councils, housing providers and other agencies who have different powers to deal with different problems.

“You may have a great idea about what can be done to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area.

“We and other local agencies welcome your comments.”

You can contact your local police by phoning the non-emergency number of 101.
