Lest We Forget on the eve of Remembrance Sunday

SERVICES of Remembrance will take place across the South Somerset area tomorrow (Sunday, November 10, 2013) as the district joins the rest of the nation in remembering those who have died in conflicts and wars at home and abroad.

There will be a parade through Yeovil town centre tomorrow morning with a service at the War Memorial in the Borough where wreaths will be laid by various civic dignitaries and representatives of organisations.

The nation will fall silent at 11am for a minute’s silence.

Supporters of the Royal British Legion have once again been out in force to raise money for this year’s annual Poppy Appeal.
