Students' bake sale coins in cash for Breast Cancer Care

IT seemed appropriate that on the same day as the final of the 2013 Great British Bake Off was screened on BBC, students at Yeovil College held a bake sale for charity.

Members of the college’s Student Union raised a fantastic £145 for Breast Cancer Care and would like to thank everyone who supported the event.

Millions of TV viewers tuned in tonight (Tuesday, October 22, 2013) to see Frances Quinn win this year’s Great British Bake Off final which was filmed at East Harptree in Somerset.

Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry will be in Yeovil on Monday (October 28, 2013) night at the Octagon Theatre where she will be discussing her long-awaited autobiography. The event is already sold out.
