The bike has a rear disc brake instead of a drum brake and a distinctive NZ brake lever, both of which are unusual and non-standard on the bike. It is red and white with red wheels and has a blank number display on the front.

A police spokesman said: "We would like people to be vigilant and are appealing to second-hand dealers and those involved in the motorcycle industry to keep a look out for the bike."

Anyone who is approached or spots the bike is asked to contact Yeovil police on the force number 101.
