Woman rescued from lift
ONE woman had to be rescued this morning (Tuesday, October 1) after getting stuck in a lift at a property in Yeovil.
The alarm was raised at just after 7.15am and two fire engines from Yeovil were sent to the incident in Mead Avenue.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two crews from Yeovil were mobilised to reports of a person stuck in a lift at a property.
“One female was released from the lift by Fire Service personnel.”
