Police helicopter used to find missing man

THE police helicopter was used in Yeovil last night (Monday, September 30) to help locate a man who had gone missing.

The alarm was raised at 10pm about a 26-year-old man who had gone missing from his home in the Lyde Road area of Yeovil.

Officers on the ground and the police helicopter were mobilised and they located the missing person at around 11.30pm.

A police spokesman said: "The missing man was found and taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries."
