Road smash in Yeovil

FIREFIGHTERS were called out yesterday (Saturday, September 21) to deal with a road traffic collision in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at around 4.45pm to an incident in Bunford Lane. Two fire engines and a rescue tender from Yeovil were mobilised.

On arrival they discovered that the incident involved two cars and that two people were trapped.

Firefighters removed the roofs of both vehicles to release the casualties and then helped ambulance personnel to remove them from the wreckage.
