Red House Music Fest hits right note with Piers Simon Appeal

ORGANISERS of the Music Festival at the Red House on Saturday (August 31) have announced that it raised a fantastic £1,301.50 for the Piers Simon Appeal charity.

Everyone at the Red House pub and restaurant in Dorchester Road, Yeovil, would like to thank all the bands, helpers and festival-goers who made the event such a success.Red House Music Fest hits right note with Piers Simon Appeal

The PSA charity was launched following the untimely death of former Yeovil College student Piers Simon, 33, of Chilthorne Domer, in the Asian tsunami of Boxing Day 2004.

The charity helps with projects in areas around the globe hit by natural disasters, while its associated School in a Bag initiative provides useful school equipment for children in poverty-stricken nations.
