POLICE in Yeovil want YOUR ideas on how to find the right solutions to solve anti-social behaviour problems in your community.Your ideas wanted on how to solve anti-social behaviour problems

The police will probably be expecting more reports of ASB over the coming weeks now that the school summer holidays have started.

But officers believe that they could get results if everybody started working together.

“Everyone has an important part to play in creating safe neighbourhoods,” a police spokesman said.

“People can help us by telling us about these problems so that together we can work with the council and other agencies to find the right solutions to local causes.”

Police have said that anti-social behaviour is an activity which causes distress to others and affects quality of life.

“But this behaviour does not always amount to a criminal offence so we work with councils, housing providers and other agencies who have different powers to deal with different problems,” added the spokesman.

“People may have a great idea about what can be done to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area.

“We and other local agencies would welcome your comments.”

Phone the local police and speak to your neighbourhood beat team by calling 101.
