Whatever the weather - what a difference a year makes!

WHAT a difference 12 months makes.

The photo above was taken on the outskirts of Yeovil at Mudford looking down a side road off the main A359 on July 22, 2012, with the road impassable because of flood water.

Below is a photo of the same area taken earlier today on July 22, 2013, with the area having been bathed in glorious sunshine and soaring temperatures for most of the month.

The photo below was taken 12 months ago in Stibbear Lane on the outskirts of Donyatt, near Ilminster, on the A358 as firefighters helped to pull a truck free from flood water.

But who knows what the future holds. Weather forecasters are predicting heavy thunderstorms and torrential rain!
