Two car collision on Preston Grove

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this afternoon (Saturday, June 22) following a two-vehicle collision along Preston Grove in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at 5.15pm with reports that there was one casualty still inside a vehicle.

Two fire engines and a rescue tender from Yeovil were mobilised and they used cutting equipment to release the casualty by removing the roof.

The casualty was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
