Teenager gets stuck in baby swing

A TEENAGE girl had to be rescued by firefighters this afternoon (Saturday, June 15) after getting stuck in a swing.

The alarm was raised at just after 3.15pm with reports that a teenager was stuck in a baby swing at the children’s play area at Etsome Terrace, Somerton.

One fire engine from Martock was sent to deal with the incident.

A Fire Service spokesman said: ‘’On arrival our officers confirmed that a 14-year-old girl was stuck. They released her from the swing using small tools.’’
