Anti-social behaviour problems in Yeovil
PEOPLE living on the eastern side of Yeovil are being asked to help in the ongoing battle against anti-social behaviour.
Police are keen to hear from people about problems with anti-social behaviour so that officers along with South Somerset District Council and other agencies can find the right solutions to local issues.
A police spokesman said: ‘’Anti-social behaviour is an activity which causes distress to others and affects quality of life.
‘’But this behaviour does not always amount to a criminal offence, so we work with councils, housing providers and other agencies who have different powers to deal with different problems.’’
And the spokesman added: ‘’People may have great ideas about what can be done to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area.
‘’We and other local agencies will welcome your comments.’’
People can contact police on 101.
