Yeovil's very own MAMILS - Middle Aged Men in Lycra!

YEOVIL-BASED Koller Engineering Ltd is switching to another form of two-wheel transport – still with the overall aim of making a real difference to people’s lives.

The Koller Team of Koller MAMILS – Middle Aged Men in Lycra – are taking part in a charity bike ride on Sunday, April 28, from Wimborne in Dorset to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.

They also hope to promote Koller and its wheelchair accessible vehicle products which have given their customers much-needed freedom and independence.

The team consists of sales manager Andy Nurrish and director Dean Koller (pictured above) who are keen to do their bit for their local community.

The BHF organises a series of events such as this which people take part in to help fundraise for this well-known charity.

The Dorset Bike Ride is a spring event with 25, 50, 66 and 100-mile routes through the countryside.

The Koller MAMILS are riding the 66-mile route which is a big undertaking as this will be the furthest they have cycled in the one day.

Dean said: ‘’We expect this to be a painful, yet exhilarating experience.’’

The ride starts at 8am with the last riders finishing by 4.30pm.
