Yeovil Half Marathon 2013: 13.1 miles from start to finish

AROUND 1,000 runners will be setting off this morning (Sunday, March 24) from Yeovil Town Football Club’s HuishPark stadium at the start of the 2013 Yeovil Half Marathon.

The race will get underway just after 9am and follow a route from the football club along Thorne Lane, Combe Street Lane, Mudford Road, Yeovil town centre, Sherborne Road, Yeovil Country Park, Lysander Road, Watercombe Lane, Bunford Lane, Bluebell Road, Lower Odcombe and Lufton before returning to Huish Park.

The leading runners are expected back at around 10.10am to 10.15am – if last year’s times are anything to go by.

One thing slightly different this year is the weather – with it expected to be a lot chillier than it was in 2012.
