Yeovil Half Marathon 2013: Information for spectators

RACE organisers, Total Buzz Events, have tried to make the Yeovil Half Marathon tomorrow (Sunday, March 24) as spectator-friendly as possible.

The race registration, start and finish will be at Yeovil Town FC’s HuishPark stadium.

There will be ample free parking for people to park while catering facilities and toilets will be available.

There will be a number of key spectator locations out on the route.

These will be found at the GOLDESTONES LEISURE CENTRE at the Yeovil Country Park; the QUICKSILVER MAIL pub at the top of Hendford Hill; the PALMERS ROUNDABOUT near Bluebell Road.

There will be musical entertainment along the route to entertain the runners and spectators.

From around 9.20am to 9.50am at the bandstand area in Lower Middle Street will be the DeciBelles.

The lovely Sarah Lowery will be singing at Goldestones from 9.25am to 10.40am, while Marcus Sangiovanni (pictured below) will be performing at the Quicksilver Mail from 9.40am to 10.40am.

And then, finally, the Wessex Highlanders will be performing on Bunford Lane near Palmers.
