Grill pan fire in Sherborne Road

TWO people had to be treated by ambulance personnel this morning following a fire at a home in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at just before 11.45am to a fire at a property in Sherborne Road and two fire engines from Yeovil were mobilised.

Officers discovered that there had been a small fire involving a grill pan in a first-floor flat, but it was out before they arrived.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: ''One male and one female were treated by ambulance personnel for slight smoke inhalation.''
