It was just after 4pm when the Fire Service received a call reporting a boy had got stuck on a ledge. One fire engine from Martock and one from Yeovil attended the scene along with a specialist rescue team from Bridgwater.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: ''We can confirm one 14-year-old boy had fallen about 12-14ft onto a rocky ledge.''
