This donation will help provide enhanced facilities by provision of a Family Bay that will give additional space where parents and young families can relax and take respite, particularly when a new baby is premature or poorly.

The grant will specifically help the provision of new soft furnishings and additional comforts in the Family Bay that will not be otherwise available from the NHS.

Barry Scott, of the Royal Naval Lodge in Yeovil, said: ''Somerset Freemasons are proud to be able to provide this support for the Women‘s Hospital Unit in Yeovil; helping our local community is important to Somerset Freemasons.''
