Chainsaws stolen from Hardington Mandeville

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a number of chainsaws from an address in Hardington Mandeville.

Sometime overnight on December 4-5 entry was forced at a property and chainsaws to the value of £7,000 were taken.

The items were all distinctive as they were marked with the victim's postcode and the name Applewood.

The items taken included:

•     Stihl MS660 36" chainsaw.

•     Stihl MS441 25" chainsaw.

•     Stihl MS261 18" chainsaw, Stihl MS260 16" and Husqvarna 357XP 16".

•     Stihl MS201T 14", Stihl MS200T 14".

•     Stihl HS85R hedge trimmer 30" blade.

•     Stihl KM100 Split Shaft engine.

•     Stihl KM-HT pole runner attachment. 

•     Stihl KM-HL 130 degree hedge cutter attachment.

•     Stihl Carbon Shaft extension pole.

•     Stihl FS100 Brush Cutter with cowhorn handles.

 A police spokesman said: "We would like to speak to anyone who have any information about the crime or to anyone who has been offered the items for sale."
